About The Position

As a Senior Analyst for Supply Chain Management, you will be responsible for owning national accounts with suppliers that ship freight with Walmart Fleet by managing data analytics, metrics, and transportation levels of service. You’ll make an impact by building partnerships with Walmart vendor accounts, managing issues between transportation and suppliers to deliver strong LOS, and implementing process improvement strategies across Replenishment, vendor and Walmart Fleet. You will also be responsible for researching and analyzing root cause exceptions concerning shipping, receiving, and inventory issues, and supporting field-level direction by providing guidance for operations. Additionally, you will communicate operational expectations to suppliers and transport partners. The Supply Chain Management team at Walmart Fleet optimizes national account operations by managing data analytics, service levels, and transportation systems. Collaborating with cross-functional partners, the team drives process improvements and resolves operational challenges to enhance network efficiency. The team prioritizes reliability, clear communication, accountability, and continuous development to meet business objectives while upholding high standards of integrity and operational excellence across Walmart’s distribution network.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in supply chain management and analysis with a focus on process improvement and root cause analysis.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams to implement sustainable supply chain solutions and enhance network efficiencies.
  • Strong skills in supplier performance and transportation management, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights to support cost reduction and service level improvements.
  • Demonstrated capability to build partnerships with stakeholders and communicate operational expectations effectively.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, adaptability, and upholding high standards of integrity and ethics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.

Responsibilities
