About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Management, plays a key role in driving operational excellence across the supply chain through strategic analysis, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration. This position is responsible for identifying process improvement opportunities, conducting root cause analyses, and managing carrier relationships to enhance efficiency, service performance, and overall network effectiveness. Leveraging deep supply chain expertise, the Senior Analyst leads initiatives that support organizational objectives, influences business decisions through actionable insights, and champions continuous improvement efforts. This role ensures alignment between operational execution, KPI and business goals. Our team is dedicated to enhancing Walmart's transportation operations through expertise in supply chain management, data analytics, and continuous process improvement. We collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including Carrier Performance, Carrier Procurement, Supplier Performance, and Supplier Operations, to identify trends, evaluate performance, and develop both short-term solutions and long-term strategies that improve efficiency, service, and execution. Team plays a key role in addressing complex operational challenges, supporting strategic initiatives, and driving continuous improvement across the transportation network. Success in this environment requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective time management, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving landscape.

Requirements

Experience in transportation, supply chain, logistics, operations, or a related analytical field.
Strong analytical and time management skills, with the ability to identify trends, determine root causes, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
A problem-solving mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Proven ability to collaborate across teams, influence stakeholders, and drive results.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to ownership, innovation, and driving positive change.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
