Raytheon has an excellent opportunity within the Land & Air Defense Systems (L&ADS) organization for a Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Management.; the position is a highly valued pricing position within a dynamic organization focused on creating and supporting Cost Volume and Pricing efforts. The Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Management position requires contact and coordination with many proposal team members, which could include subcontractors, customers, and management. The ability to develop and understand simple and moderate Microsoft® Excel® cost models to support proposal efforts is a key function for proposal development and Gate reviews discussions.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Experience with Microsoft® Excel® to include VLOOKUP and pivot tables

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the development, analysis and completion of material proposals, Creation of the Material Cost Summary (MCS)
  • Work with other functions from across the company to understand and evaluate the material and other direct costs associated with proposed contracts and the associated program
  • Utilize company estimating and pricing programs and tools
  • Assist in the development of Material Basis of Estimates to include tracking progress, validating and analyzing supplier quotes and Purchase Order History, ensuring consistency across the program, and confirming the estimating approach is sound
  • Ensure proposals comply with all Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and internal requirements often as the only material point of contact
  • Assess, develop and implement solutions leading to a thorough material package
  • Perform detailed and complex analysis of inputs to ensure soundness in our material estimates
