About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance is part of the CFO organization and reports to the Senior Manager, Strategic Finance. The Strategic Finance team serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and partners closely with teams across OneTrust to improve the profitability, scalability, and defensibility of our business model. This role will play a critical role supporting both R&D and Marketing from a finance perspective—partnering with functional leaders to inform investment decisions, optimize resource allocation, and translate strategy into measurable outcomes. You’ll work at the intersection of product innovation, go-to-market execution, and financial performance. We’re looking for a highly analytical, results-oriented individual who thrives in ambiguity and is excited to build and scale alongside a growing company. As a key member of the Strategic Finance team, you will have meaningful exposure to senior leadership, own complex analyses, and influence decisions that shape the company’s future.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of finance experience in a high-growth technology environment
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear, compelling narratives that inform decision-making and strategy
  • Proven ability to create structure and clarity in ambiguous environments, influence cross-functional partners, and drive outcomes without direct authority
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams, including Product, Engineering, and Marketing

Nice To Haves

  • experience in investment banking, consulting, or PE/VC is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support company-wide planning, forecasting, and reporting processes on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis
  • Partner closely with R&D and Marketing leaders to develop financial plans, evaluate trade-offs, and support capital allocation decisions across product development and go-to-market initiatives
  • Develop a deep understanding of the unit economics of the business, including the relationships between product roadmap, cloud infrastructure, customer usage, and marketing investment
  • Build and maintain financial models and analytical frameworks to evaluate KPIs, assess performance, and measure ROI across initiatives
  • Conduct rigorous analyses to identify opportunities, risks, and trade-offs, distilling complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders at all levels, from executive leadership to functional partners and individual contributors
  • Help scale the finance function by improving financial infrastructure, automating workflows, and enhancing FP&A processes as the company grows
