About The Position
The Senior Analyst, Sourcing plays a critical role in supporting sourcing initiatives by managing supplier relationships, analyzing cost structures, and contributing to negotiation strategies. This position involves gathering and interpreting market data to develop sourcing proposals and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives. The role requires strong communication and analytical skills to ensure timely decision-making and continuous improvement. The Senior Analyst also supports operational activities and fosters a culture of accountability, integrity, and excellence while driving value through strategic sourcing and supplier performance management. The Dairy Sourcing Team manages all Private Label supplier partnerships within the Dairy Department. This team develops and executes strategic sourcing plans by collaborating with cross-functional partners to meet product demand and quality standards. They oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective procurement aligned with company goals. The team drives innovation, monitors supplier performance, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. Members maintain high ethical standards and foster a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and operational excellence in sourcing and supply chain management.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier management to support cost negotiations and sourcing projects.
- Strong data analysis and financial analysis skills to develop sourcing proposals and evaluate supplier performance.
- Effective communication abilities to build relationships with stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional activities.
- Adaptability and a continuous learning mindset to embrace improvements and new digital tools.
- Experience mentoring and developing associates, fostering accountability and team collaboration.
- Commitment to integrity, compliance, and upholding company values in all business practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities
- Support sourcing activities aligned with the supplier matrix and contribute to cost negotiations based on component pricing insights.
- Develop product, market, and industry knowledge to inform sourcing proposals and project execution.
- Coordinate supplier quotations and samples to ensure timely decision-making and objective achievement.
- Assist in planning and executing buying trips, including itinerary setup and negotiation finalization.
- Maintain and update supplier performance data and contribute to business reports for sourcing management.
- Collaborate with quality engineers to address supplier-related quality issues.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to support sourcing plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
