The position also includes writing technical reports, communicating results to customers, managing solar energy assessment projects, and leading research and presentations at industry conferences. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with industry, academia, and national labs, lead the Solar Modeling software development team, determine business cases for software improvements, and prioritize enhancements in a 12-month roadmap. Engagement with stakeholders, supporting the energy assessment team with training and troubleshooting, and developing numerical analysis in Python or other programming languages are also key responsibilities. The role emphasizes contributing to a diverse working environment, proactive communication, accountability, and working independently. The position requires 5% domestic and 5% international travel. The role is hybrid, allowing periodic work from home within a reasonable commuting distance of the Seattle, WA office.
