Job Duties: Responsible for the implementation of existing secondary marketing pricing, trading, and hedging tools. Contribute to the development of additional instruments to price loan products and facilitate portfolio management decisions. Apply fixed income and portfolio risk management philosophies to enhance trading strategies, improve pricing analytics, and improve efficiency of current processes. Production of daily rate sheets for AMF non-agency mortgage products. Produce daily position reports for loans, retained securities, hedge positions, market surveillance and pipeline activities. Assist with reporting to constituents on AMF pricing needs. Develop internal pricing model in partnership with other team members. Design and maintain collateral analysis reporting to ensure data integrity and facilitate management of AMF’s loan position. Collaborate with operations and finance departments to assess impact of secondary/credit market changes. Partner with multiple platform vendors to accomplish secondary market goals including fulfillment, servicing, custodian, and trustee. Trace mortgage financing chain from origination to securitization.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or related financial analysis position.
  • Must have 1 year of experience in the following: Capital markets and residential mortgage credit that includes pricing constructs.
  • Structured product markets and asset-based securitization transactions.
  • Deal parties including lawyers, bankers, and underwriters for smooth and structured securitization transaction.
  • Programming with VBA, R, SQL, and Python for financial modeling/processes.
  • Microsoft Office Excel for financial analysis.
  • Financial analytical tools: Bloomberg and Intex Desktop.
  • Fixed income portfolio management, cash flow modelling, models to evaluate credit risk and make lending decisions, deal structures, and bond mathematics.
  • Private label RMBS and securitizations.
  • Must have experience with: Financial, economic, collateral, and credit analysis to assess market risks/opportunities.
  • ADCo Loan Kinetics or CAS.
