About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Reporting and Analytics develops, maintains, and owns reporting tools and data processes that provide visibility into site performance and key performance indicators (KPIs). Reporting into the PMO, this role partners across multiple departments to design, deliver, and sustain data solutions that enable clear, consistent, and reliable reporting for leadership decision-making. The position creates and maintains Tableau dashboards, Alteryx workflows, and Smartsheet trackers to ensure KPI reporting is accurate, timely, and actionable. This role exists to standardize metrics, improve data quality, and scale reporting capabilities across the organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 4 +years of applicable industry experience OR Master’s degree Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field 3 years of applicable industry experience OR Experience creating and optimizing Tableau dashboards (e.g., LODs, parameters, performance best practices).
  • Experience in quantitative and analytical skills with ability to track, measure and identify improvement solutions.
  • Experience leading and facilitating group process and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with or ability to learn Tableau, Alteryx, and Smartsheet.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain data and data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to recommend solutions.
  • Interest in project management concepts and working within a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and enhances Tableau dashboards that visualize team- and portfolio-level performance metrics for leadership consumption; apply approved data visualization and accessibility standards; deliver updates per schedules defined by the manager.
  • Develops and runs data workflows that support automated, reliable Key Performance Indicator reporting within established pipelines; perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and load; monitor jobs, resolve routine issues, and escalate exceptions as needed.
  • Collaborates with the Project Management Office, Operations, Finance, and Information Technology to clarify requirements and metric logic; translate business needs into scalable, team-scoped data models and reporting assets under guidance from senior staff.
  • Applies established data quality checks and governance standards; maintain documentation for metric definitions, source-of-truth tables, and change control for assigned reporting assets; log issues and recommend incremental improvements.
  • Configures and maintain Smartsheet trackers and Control Center settings to support project intake, status tracking, and standardized portfolio reporting within the team’s remit; ensure data integrity and user access in line with policy.
  • Creates and maintains technical and user documentation, data dictionaries, dashboard guides, and runbooks to support continuity and self-service; keep artifacts current with releases and changes.
  • Conducts ad hoc analyses and root-cause reviews within assigned domains; summarize findings with clear visuals and recommendations; implement approved corrective actions.
