About The Position

Responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation of CNO tools and capabilities. Lead a team to design, develop, and test application software to fulfill unique requirements on Windows, Unix, or other specified platforms, Build applications using a specified programming language per the Government, Build graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for custom applications, and Respond to evolving requirements in an agile environment.

Requirements

  • A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., computer science, information systems, and network engineering) from an accredited college or university.
  • 12 years of relevant programming experience in the field (e.g., computer science, information systems, and network engineering).
  • Experience with Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python
  • Experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments; UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments; or, Embedded or mobile platform development using proprietary, GOTS, or open source build environments
  • Experience in the design and development of end-to-end data flow and tasking for CNO tools developed
  • Ability to develop in Unix and/or Windows low-level internals (e.g., OS runtime linker/loader, object file formats (e.g., PE, COFF, ELF), file system internals (e.g., NTFS, ext2, btrfs), OS-specific mandatory and discretionary access control mechanisms, and process and thread APIs and data structures)

Nice To Haves

  • In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, an additional four (4) years of relevant programming experience in the field may be substituted for a total of 16 years.
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing the requirement to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • A PhD in a relevant discipline may be substituted for four (4) years of experience, reducing the requirement to eight (8) years of relevant experience.
