About The Position

The Advanced Effectors (AE) Product Area, within the Advanced Technology (AT) Strategic Business Unit, is seeking an onsite Program Controls Analyst. This role supports a major development program with an existing Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development (EMD) contract valued at over $1.5B, as well as follow-on contracts that are executing in parallel. The Program Controls Analyst will work closely with finance management to support earned value management (EVM) implementation, Estimate at Completion (EAC) development, and ad hoc financial analysis. Responsibilities include: Supporting contractual earned value management activities Assisting with EAC development and updates Performing ad hoc financial and program analysis Partnering with cross-functional teams to support program execution and reporting requirements The role requires collaboration across multiple organizations and levels of leadership, with responsibility for meeting established deadlines and deliverables.

Requirements

  • A University Degree finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working in a multi-tasking environment with competing priorities.
  • Active and Transferable Secret Clearance.
  • U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or related business systems (e.g., PRISM, SAP, AO reporting).
  • Experience with ForProject or similar program management tools.
  • Ability to analyze financial and program data to support decision-making.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in cross-functional team environments.
  • Completion of Skill Bridge Internship

Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly and monthly program financial reports.
  • Perform ad hoc financial and program analysis.
  • Support tool implementation and related process improvement initiatives.
  • Support Contractual Earned Value Management System (EVMS) implementation and maintenance, including: Variance analysis, Quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) development, Monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development, EVMS Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables (IPMR/IPMDAR, CFSR, CSDR)
  • Conduct financial data analysis and develop variance reporting.
