About The Position

Takes lead on complex initiatives (e.g., destination lead, program lead) to implement and support product/pricing strategies across E-Commerce and ticketing platforms. Influences development of functionality of new software systems (e.g., SAP Commerce, Horizon ticketing system) and solutions provided by Digital & Technology, ensuring that systems/solutions meet Global Product & Pricing functionality and operational requirements. Learns functionality of new software systems and solutions provided by Digital & Technology, combining that knowledge with business requirements from Marketing & Sales, Digital & Technology, Finance, Global Product & Pricing, Loss Prevention, Attractions Operations and Entrance Operations to develop efficient and repeatable solutions to meet the business needs. Designs and develops automation through advanced technical skills to improve accuracy and speed to market with product launches. Prepares complete documentation and learning aides to ensure others can come up to speed on new software, solutions and processes quickly and accurately. Provides direction, leadership and guidance to junior Team Members in day-to-day work and new functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required in Business or Management Information Systems.
  • 5+ years’ experience required with large scale admission ticketing system (e.g., Galaxy Ticketing System, Horizon).
  • 4+ years’ experience utilizing advanced development skills leveraging Application Interfaces (APIs) and programming languages (e.g., Visual Basic, Python) to automate manual/repetitive processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • 3+ year in setup/configuration of system.
  • 3+ year experience with enterprise level E-Commerce systems (e.g., HCL Commerce, SAP Commerce Cloud).
  • Advanced PC skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Relational databases, and SQL required.
  • Understanding of key financial processes/concepts (e.g., Debits/Credits, Deferred Revenue) and their typical application in a theme park environment preferred.
  • Flexible and adaptable regarding learning and understanding new technologies.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Global Product & Pricing Product Development participation in complex, cross-functional initiatives (e.g., destination lead, program lead, major system implementations) to implement and support product and pricing strategies across E-Commerce and ticketing platforms.
  • Own Global Product & Pricing Product Development’s end-to-end delivery, including planning, coordination, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication across Marketing & Sales, Digital & Technology, Finance, Global Product & Pricing, Loss Prevention, Attractions Operations, and Entrance Operations.
  • Influence and guide the functional design, configuration, and enhancement of new and existing software systems (e.g., SAP Commerce, Horizon ticketing system).
  • Partner closely with Digital & Technology, vendors, and Quality Engineering to ensure system solutions meet Global Product & Pricing functional, operational, and scalability requirements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to evaluate trade-offs, approve solution approaches, and ensure alignment with UDX standards.
  • Oversee and perform advanced analysis, configuration, and testing activities for complex initiatives.
  • Define testing strategy and scope, review test results, identify risks and defects, and collaborate with vendors and Digital & Technology teams to drive resolution.
  • Validate that implemented solutions function as expected across all impacted systems and business processes prior to production deployment.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to junior Team Members.
  • Review work output, assist with problem solving, support onboarding to new systems and processes, and serve as an escalation point for complex analytical or system issues.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of team capabilities and best practices.
  • Analyze end-to-end product and pricing workflows to identify opportunities for efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead the design and development of advanced automation solutions leveraging available system tools (e.g., APIs, database updates) and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Visual Basic).
  • Ensure automation solutions are accurate, auditable, repeatable, and usable by less technically skilled team members to improve speed to market and reduce operational risk.
  • Lead requirements gathering and solution design efforts for complex initiatives by translating business needs into system-based solutions.
  • Evaluate requirements across the full product lifecycle, determine how they are met within Global Product & Pricing–owned systems, and coordinate with other system owners to ensure end-to-end integration.
  • Provide detailed solution design documentation for inclusion in the Global Product & Pricing Knowledge Base.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, standards, and learning aides (e.g., process documentation, configuration guides, videos, playbooks) to support onboarding, system adoption, and operational consistency.
  • Establish documentation standards and ensure knowledge transfer so solutions are sustainable and not dependent on individual expertise.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
