About The Position

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Control, the Senior Analyst’s main role is to analyze financial data, specifically focusing on Profit and loss reporting as well as product pricing. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing, reconciling, and reporting P&L mark to market valuation data on a daily and monthly basis all while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, the candidate will be contributing to the overall success of our finance team by taking part in automation and process improvement projects. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Requirements

  • CFA candidate having passed L1
  • 3+ years of Product Control or relevant work experience
  • Experience in concepts and processes for the P&L reporting of complex and/or sensitive nature; derivative products, customized securities, cross currencies, forwards, options and other vanilla and non-standard derivative transactions.

Nice To Haves

  • Coding or exposure to automation projects is a plus (Alteryx, Python, Databricks)
  • MBA is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data, specifically focusing on Profit and loss reporting as well as product pricing.
  • Analyze, reconcile, and report P&L mark to market valuation data on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to automation and process improvement projects.
  • Act in a collaborative manner with team members and stakeholders from different backgrounds and experiences.
  • Liaise daily with Finance, Front Office and other Capital Markets stakeholder groups.
  • Provide supporting activities to your team lead, Front Office, Risk Management and Finance, which includes decomposition of P&L by risk factors to ensure business partners, understand the underlying drivers of P&L.
  • Review and consolidate daily commentary and analyses for stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the control framework for their Line of Business is operating efficiently.
  • Act as the main point of contact for peer and stakeholders in Capital Markets CFO Group, Front Office, Global Operations, Finance, Risk Management, etc. to ensure resolution of all related issues.
