Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. What you Will Do: - Preparation and issuance of RFIs, RFPs. Proposals, POs - Place purchase orders of various complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for various complex subcontract (Cost Type, Incentive Type, Firm Fixed, etc.). - Perform price and cost analysis techniques in support of proposals and placements. -Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. -Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to secure the best terms and conditions. -Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities. -Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure procurement activities align with business goals. -Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and quality standards. - Maintain POs to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information. -Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance. -Identify and mitigate risks related to procurement and supply chain activities. -Ensure adherence to RTX Corporation’s procurement policies and procedures. -Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. -Supports post award work for the team to ensure on time delivery

Requirements

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) – ability to place Purchase Orders over TINA dollar threshold
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62 .

Nice To Haves

  • SAP/PRISM based environment experience
  • Experienced with Excel for tracking and analysis purposes
  • Knowledge and experience with Computer Hardware and Software placement
