About The Position

The Senior Analyst - Portfolio Growth Credit Strategy uses data analytics and machine learning to extract insights from bank data and inform strategic decisions, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation. The role focuses on credit card portfolio growth and pricing analytics, including developing robust decision models, building opportunistic analyses, and turning analytical findings into actionable recommendations and business strategies. The position works with stakeholders across departments and is based in the Wilmington, Delaware office.

Requirements

Considerable experience in pricing analytics.
Extensive experience in the credit card industry.
Experience extracting meaningful insights from complex data sets and developing robust decision models.
In-depth knowledge of pricing options and analytics.
Familiarity with pricing fields and settings on supplier data files.
Extensive experience building opportunistic analyses.

Responsibilities

Identify, collect, and extract data from internal and external sources.
Clean, wrangle, and transform data to ensure quality and suitability for analysis.
Develop and maintain data pipelines for automated data acquisition and processing.
Design and conduct statistical and machine-learning analyses to identify patterns, trends, and relationships.
Develop and implement predictive models to forecast outcomes and identify risks and opportunities.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to create value through data science.
Extract meaningful insights from complex data sets and develop robust decision models.
Present actionable recommendations to stakeholders across departments.
Build opportunistic analyses and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
Build business cases and lead analytical projects.
Communicate complex findings clearly and concisely to senior leadership.
Take responsibility for risk management, controls, policy and procedure adherence, and appropriate escalation of breaches.
Partner with other functions and business areas, and guide or influence colleagues and stakeholders as appropriate.
