About The Position

Bellwether is seeking a Portfolio Analytics Senior Analyst to join our Portfolio Management Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to play an integral part in producing highly leveraged and impactful analytical reports. The individual will interact with multiple stakeholders, gaining exposure to various asset classes and fundraising and marketing initiatives. This role will be critical in conducting portfolio analysis, creating new client reporting, and spearheading various production efforts across teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in financial services and/or real estate investment, and at least the same amount of time in an analytical role
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong analytical skills and detailed oriented
  • Proven ability to grasp new concepts, initiate ideas and implement new processes
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with different parts of the organization
  • Ability to manage and organize large amounts of data and communications
  • Ability to perform responsibilities independently and proactively, solve problems, and improve processes and/or services
  • Self-directed, takes initiative and responsibility, ensures completion of tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong listening and interpersonal skills
  • Highly effective at preparing and presenting information
  • Acts with honesty and integrity and maintains confidentiality, adheres to company policies
  • Promotes a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Demonstrates team building, support and respect

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Big Data Management, MRI and Tableau is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Compile investment-level financial information and assist in creating best-in-class investor relationships and marketing reports
  • Build, maintain and assist in automating analytical dashboards across multiple clients
  • Analyze and calculate portfolio-level metrics that will be used to provide KPIs across various client strategies (i.e., Opportunistic, Income, and Debt)
  • Actively engage and coordinate deliverables with Asset and Portfolio management teams
  • Assist with Due Diligence Questionnaires for client fundraising efforts
  • Create and develop marketing and investor reports for new clients
