About The Position

This role is based in our Boston office. We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Physical Security Technologies market research practice. This role offers the opportunity to lead market research initiatives, deliver actionable insights, and shape thought leadership in the fast-evolving physical security industry. As a Senior Analyst, you will focus on market research, forecasting, and report writing, providing strategic guidance to global clients in areas such as security systems integration, intruder alarms, and monitoring services.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in market research or the physical security industry.
Expertise in primary research, forecasting, and competitive analysis.
Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and forecasting.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clear, actionable reports.
Self-motivated and proactive, with excellent time management skills.
Business-level English is required.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with security systems integration, intruder alarms, or monitoring services is a plus.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferable.

Responsibilities

Support custom consulting projects tailored to client needs.
Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
Represent Omdia at industry events, sharing thought leadership and insights.
Work with analysts across global regions to ensure consistent methodologies and comprehensive market coverage.
Partner with internal teams, including database and customer success teams, to enhance research quality.
