Senior Analyst, Operations
About The Position
The Senior Analyst, Operations supports project planning, execution, and continuous improvement across multiple business functions. The role analyzes operational processes, develops solutions, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and deliver results. It uses communication and business analysis skills to manage project timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement, applying operational expertise and data-driven decision-making to establish scalable best practices and support organizational goals. The team develops and scales new bulk fulfillment capabilities for Walmart Business, including palletized fulfillment. It partners across Walmart to build, standardize, and continuously improve end-to-end bulk fulfillment processes. The team focuses on ownership, collaboration, and execution, turning complex customer needs into scalable solutions that balance customer experience, operational efficiency, and cost.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Process Improvement, or a related field, or 2 years’ experience in operations, project management, or a related area.
- Proven experience in operations and project management, including organizing timelines and deliverables effectively.
- Ability to develop and implement scalable operational best practices aligned with business growth.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build partnerships and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong business analysis skills to identify root causes, develop solutions, and recommend operational improvements.
- Expertise in facilitating meetings and communicating project status to various stakeholder groups.
- Proficiency in data storytelling and compiling reports to support decision-making and track progress.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- Project Management Certification.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project requests and communicate status updates to key stakeholders.
- Identify root causes of operational challenges, propose data-driven solutions, and make actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and enhance operational tools, reports, and customer-facing functionalities.
- Implement scalable best practices and tracking mechanisms to support business growth and continuous improvement.
- Provide expert guidance on operations strategies and support alignment with business objectives.
