Role summary: The (USA) Senior Analyst, Operations plays a critical role in supporting project planning, execution, and resource management to drive operational excellence. The role requires effective communication with stakeholders, continuous improvement of operational tools, and monitoring key performance indicators to ensure successful project outcomes. The Senior Analyst contributes to aligning operational strategies with business goals while maintaining high standards of integrity, accountability, and customer focus in a dynamic environment. About the team: The team oversees the intake and initial review of driver-related matters within Walmart’s Last Mile Delivery platform, ensuring consistent and fair decisions through careful evaluation and policy application. Operating in a dynamic environment, the team maintains accuracy and sound judgment while managing high volumes. They provide insights on trends to improve processes and prevent issues. Taking ownership of each case, the team supports a safe and reliable marketplace for drivers, customers, and stores. Collaboration, accountability, and critical thinking are essential to delivering impactful results in this role.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in operations and project management, including designing and executing project plans with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business analysis skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuous improvement processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders and convey project status and outcomes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, allocate resources efficiently, and drive corrective actions to achieve results.
  • Demonstrated capability to develop operational tools and reports that support scalable business growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations , or related field OR 2 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables while facilitating stakeholder meetings to analyze and implement operational initiatives.
  • Develop and improve operational tools, reports, and customer-facing functionality by providing subject matter expertise and defining business requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, merchandising, and engineering to drive project execution and operational improvements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement scalable best practices to support business growth and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate project status, resource allocation, and corrective actions to stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Identify root causes, recommend data-driven solutions, and support implementation of operational strategies.
