About The Position

ShipMonk is seeking a Senior Analyst for their Operations Analytics team. This role is crucial for ensuring that operational decisions regarding capacity, labor, and throughput are data-driven. The analyst will own the analyses that shape fulfillment operations, moving beyond just building dashboards to identifying key metrics, uncovering data-driven problems, and providing actionable recommendations to operations leaders. This is a senior position with significant impact on how the company runs its fulfillment centers.

Requirements

3+ years in supply chain analytics, operations analysis, or capacity and fulfillment management
Strong skills in Excel and a BI tool (Metabase, Tableau, or Power BI)
Ability to turn messy operational data into a clear recommendation
Comfort working directly with operations teams
Experience with statistical modeling is a plus, especially for forecasting and capacity work

Responsibilities

Build and own the dashboards and KPIs that operations leaders use to run the business.
Explain reasons for drops in throughput or spikes in labor cost.
Dig into the data to spot trends and inefficiencies before they become expensive.
Bring clear recommendations, not just charts, to operations leaders.
Help build the forecasts and capacity models that feed operational plans and budgets.
Turn complex analysis into actionable insights for stakeholders, including operations VPs.
