About The Position

As the Senior Analyst, Micro-Fulfillment Finance, you will be a part of the Cost and Project Reporting team within Symbotic's Finance Organization. This is a fast-paced role where you will gain exposure across a wide variety of business activities. In this position, you will report to the Senior Manager, Micro-Fulfillment Finance. You will be responsible for Project Cost Control, Estimate at Completion (EAC) / Estimate to Complete (ETC) data collection and analysis, resource planning, variance analysis & explanation, portfolio reporting, customer reporting, and supporting Risk Management and Change Management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in finance supporting Supply Chain/Operations
Excellent organization, attention to detail, analytical and abstract reasoning skills
Ability to work in a results-oriented, project-driven, real-time team environment, prioritize projects and deliver quality results within tight time constraints
Ability to thrive in a dynamic business environment that requires rapid learning, multitasking and prioritization of deliverables
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Excel and PowerPoint
Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations
The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis

Responsibilities

Accountable for Project Cost Control, Estimate at Completion (EAC) / Estimate to Complete (ETC)
Providing data collection and analysis, resource planning, variance analysis & explanation
Supporting Portfolio Reporting, Customer Reporting for Risk Management and Change Management
Assisting in the consolidation of our project site portfolio
Demonstrate advanced financial modeling skills, be proactive and work independently with the different teams while leveraging and expanding a diverse team of embedded analysts
Work with key stakeholders and finance team members to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the financial planning process, assumptions, and results
Project reporting on budgets, actuals, forecasts, and variances
Approving purchase requisitions/orders and change management
Risk and opportunity formulation and tracking
Aid in projects complying with governance, project delivery processes and project reporting standards
