Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Senior Analyst – Materials Planning to join our team. This hybrid position is based at our Raleigh, NC location. The Supply Chain orchestration from customer to supplier requires a strong operational partner to manage the scheduling and capacity planning of our UPS units. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, operations or a combination of those functions
  • Minimum 3 years of experience using an MRP/ERP system
  • Ability to join calls outside of normal work hours with international vendors/ customers
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of procurement or scheduling experience within a manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years’ experience with SAP MRP/ERP system preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a high mix, low volume manufacturing environment
  • Experience with SIOP processes
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment, get results and drive change through others
  • Effective oral and written communication skills as well as planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage by influence through solid relationships and process focus
  • Ability to effectively present results and recommendations to senior-level executive team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain product line specific master production schedule in line with global manufacturing capacity as output of SIOP for a rolling 24 month forecast.
  • Coordinate with sales and product management to ensure customer requirements on manufacturing location and lead time are met.
  • Schedule production for domestically built orders and release purchase orders for globally sourced units and combinations within to fill customer’s expectations.
  • Manage all exceptions in the short-term horizon and collaborate with teams across Raleigh Plant operations and external vendors as needed, to identify root causes and drive corrective and preventative actions to solve exceptions.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills through effective communication and coordination with multiple functional groups (including Operations, Product Management, Customer Service, Finance, and Purchasing).
  • Monitor planning parameters accuracy by conducting periodic audits and maintaining SAP planning master data for each product line.
  • Act as primary point of contact for product availability in their value stream.
