Requirements

4+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within financial services or the Big 4.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Strong understanding of accounting principles for the financial services sector
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with and present to executive leadership
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

CPA or progress toward CPA preferred

Responsibilities

Manage month-end and quarter-end accounting activities.
Analyze and account for a broad range of investment products and transactions.
Own recurring financial reporting processes and ensure completeness and accuracy.
Oversee activity, while ensuring compliance with applicable fund agreements and accounting policies.
Assist with the preparation and review of annual financial statements and related reporting.
Collaborate with teams across the organization.
Perform and support reconciliations between internal and external resources
Investigate and resolve discrepancies and unusual activity, providing insight and recommendations to management.
Support process improvements as needed.
Assist with special projects.
