About The Position

The Sr. Epic Analyst is responsible for providing tactical and operational support for the implementation of enterprise Epic systems. This role reports to the Quality Assurance Manager IT-Epic and focuses on testing assigned Epic Modules. The individual will collaborate with a consortium team from affiliated institutions, including clinicians, project managers, analysts, and developers with module-specific domain expertise. This position involves working closely with clinical and business users to assist a multi-disciplinary team in the design, implementation, optimization, change management, and issue resolution for the enterprise system. It requires broad exposure to systems like the Epic platform, clinical workflows, and business processes, and collaboration with technical and operational leaders from affiliated institutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Epic Module Certification obtained within six months of employment
  • Five to seven or more years of previous work related experience

  • NYS Clinical licensure (Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, or other relevant allied health professional)

Responsibilities

  • Provide tactical and operational support for the implementation of enterprise Epic systems
  • Test assigned Epic Modules
  • Work closely with clinical and business users to assist a multi-disciplinary team in the design, implementation, optimization, change management, and issue resolution related to the enterprise system
  • Develop test plans, test data and testing schedules
  • Conduct unit and system tests to verify results of software solutions
  • Participate in functional and integrated testing of all software upgrades, enhancements, service packs and hotfixes as assigned
  • Review documentation and training materials prepared by fellow Analysts
  • Responsible for change control standards and procedures including successful release and communication of go lives
