Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 2 years of experience in audit, accounting or FP&A
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, or related field
• 4 years of related experience including budgeting, forecasting and reporting
• Experience building or modifying dashboards in PowerBI or other BI tools
• Ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information appropriate for intended audience
• Strong ability to develop insightful, value-added and actionable analyses with detailed explanations regarding drivers of the results; able to produce unambiguous, comprehensive and accurate interpretations
• Self-motivated work style; able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare and update financial models in Excel to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis
• Prepare monthly reporting packages comparing actual and forecasted financials vs. budgets and identifying variance drivers
• Work cross-functionally with business partners to ensure alignment and consistent messaging
• Identify, measure and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other operational and financial metrics
• Seek continuous improvement opportunities in reports and processes to improve content and streamline production and distribution
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and data anomalies
• Design reports that are concise, well organized, professional in appearance and easy to modify and distribute
