Position Summary: The Rebate Research Senior Analyst analyzes Commercial and Medicare formularies to determine client eligibility for manufacturer rebate contracts. Day-to-day tasks include: gathering documentation, reviewing contract language and providing feedback, evaluating new and varied situations dealing with plan design, formulary listing, contract interpretation, and trade negotiation; conducting ad hoc research to support forecasting and underwriting processes, investigating manufacturer disputes, supporting client and manufacturer audits, collaborating with colleagues and management to resolve issues and improve processes, and adhering to quality control procedures to ensure timely and accurate research results are published monthly for all formularies and drugs. This position interacts with many areas across the CVS Health organization, including Rebate Invoicing, Reconciliation, POS Rebate, Claims, Resubmissions, MFR Audit, Client Audit, Trade, Underwriting, Sales, Clinical, Client Services, and Account Management. A successful candidate will have the following skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines, and to appropriately pivot priorities based on business needs. Flexibility and adaptability to take on additional tasks to support the department.
