About The Position

Toyota Financial Services (TFS) is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Senior Analyst, Finance to join the FP&A Department. This role will partner closely with Finance and Business leaders to drive OPEX strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and insightful reporting to optimize expenditures and promote fiscal discipline. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the Senior Analyst will bridge Finance and Business goals to support Toyota’s commitment to operational excellence and financial performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Engineering, Analytics or related fields with 3+ months of internship experience or 3+ years of related professional experience
Proficiency and hands-on experience with Excel, PowerPoint, VBA, and leading data visualization and preparation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Tableau Prep, and Alteryx to create insightful, executive-level financial reports and dashboards.
Demonstrate strong expertise in data visualization and data cleansing, creating clear, impactful visuals that highlight key business insights.
Ability to design and deliver executive-level visualizations that focus attention on strategic, relevant metrics and opportunities, while confidently presenting sensitive and high-impact topics to executive audiences.
Strong ability to analyze complex datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and actionable opportunities that drive business improvements.
Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a hybrid work environment, effectively partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.

Nice To Haves

MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Engineering, Analytics or similar field.
Professional work experience in auto financing, consumer lending and/or financial services.
Proficiency in SAP and/or Hyperion SmartView / Essbase
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or AI-driven process automation / efficiency

Responsibilities

Develop expense plans (annual budget, quarterly forecasts, etc.) utilizing enterprise data and financial technology (Hyperion, SmartView, SAP), adopting best practices with innovation to promote forecast accuracy and build sustainable, quality processes.
Develop/support Tableau-based reporting dashboards to deliver compelling, insightful, and actionable views / key metrics to business leaders. Must be able to lead development of financial reporting visualization and solutions from concept to implementation with some assistance.
Serve as a financial consultant by developing a deep understanding of business unit objectives / cost structure and provide financial analysis to support key business decisions.
Lead executive level discussions by leveraging data to drive business insights while bringing visibility and transparency to costs.
Lead focused discussions on opportunities/risks.
Recommend actions based on insights by effectively communicating pertinent data/trends through presentations (PowerPoint), data visualizations (Tableau), using clear and concise verbal and written communications skills.
Continuously improve analytical, technical, communication, and people skills through offered training and on-the-job experience to prepare for advancement into finance / analytical leadership roles.
Support seasonal or ad-hoc Finance reporting / enhancement projects (Long Term Planning, business case / NPV support).
