As part of Aon’s Cyber Risk Consulting practice, you’ll apply advanced actuarial and analytics techniques to model cyber loss scenarios, stress‑test insurance limits, and evaluate total cost of risk, directly influencing how banks and financial institutions invest in security, resilience, and risk transfer. The role offers exposure to enterprise‑wide cyber risk assessments, collaboration with technology, security, and insurance stakeholders, and the ability to leverage market‑leading tools and proprietary data to translate cyber risk into clear financial impact. For actuarial professionals who want their work to shape real‑world decision‑making at the C‑suite and board level, this role provides a uniquely strategic and intellectually challenging platform.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in consulting, Cyber Risk, IT Consulting, or cyber security assessments
  • Knowledge of cyber risk frameworks, such as ISO27001 or ISO27002, NIST CSF 2.0, SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, NERC-CIP
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to write custom reports for risk consulting projects that clearly communicate findings and methodologies with minimal management supervision
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in computer science, actuarial science, risk management, or equivalent industry experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Cybersecurity certifications are a plus but not required: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the sales and business development activities that includes sales pipeline analysis, proposal writing, client presentations
  • Build constructive business development networks within Aon and outside the business
  • Produce high quality deliverables as part of a team
  • Understanding and anticipating client needs based on a strong understanding of risk and security frameworks
  • Deliver a range of Cyber Risk services: Cyber security risk and governance reviews, Cyber security capability and information security management system reviews, Information security design reviews and optimization, Threat and vulnerability reviews
