About The Position
Walmart is seeking a Senior Analyst, Business Analysis and Insights to deliver accurate, data-driven analysis supporting strategic business decisions. This role involves evaluating financial data, key performance indicators, and trends to provide actionable insights and expert guidance. The position requires collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure consistent reporting and alignment with business objectives. The analyst will support process efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement by developing and executing analytical plans, managing stakeholder relationships, and applying best practices to drive informed decision-making across the organization. The team leads process improvement initiatives for Upstream Facility Services, focusing on optimizing tools, equipment, PPE, and uniform management. They manage supplier relationships, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and collaboration with Field Operations, Procurement, Finance, Technology, and Safety teams. Leveraging advanced analytics and AI, the team supports proactive decision-making, cost optimization, and process standardization. Their efforts ensure service quality, cost control, and sustainable improvements throughout the tools and equipment lifecycle, significantly contributing to the organization’s operational excellence and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in data modeling and business intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
- Strong skills in business requirements documentation and root cause analysis for accurate problem resolution.
- Experience with supplier performance analysis, audit, and relationship management to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ability to analyze financial data, key performance indicators, and trends to deliver actionable insights.
- Familiarity with demand planning and inventory management to support supply chain processes.
- Certification or knowledge aligned with International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) standards.
- Demonstrated capability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate complex data clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or relevant area.
