About The Position

The Operations, Transformation and Automation team is responsible for building and supporting instrumentation, analytics, automation, reporting, and capacity management capabilities. The team is committed to streamlining processes through simplification and automation to improve operations and better serve partners and clients. The Sr. Analyst, Automation & Analytics develops solutions using self-serve tools like Power Apps, Power Automate, VBA, Alteryx, Azure DevOps, and Tableau to address business problems. This role assists in resolving routine and non-routine operational issues by investigating, analyzing, and providing recommendations on compliance, policy changes, operational controls, risk assessment, and control activities. The incumbent provides technical leadership for developing precise steps and processing logic across platforms, ensuring designed specifications meet business needs. Additionally, the role offers senior-level technical consulting to other senior management and technical teams, advising on infrastructure technologies, translating user requirements into process and data requirements, and developing impactful business solutions. The role involves making technology selection decisions even when business requirements are not fully defined. A strong understanding of business analytics and an automation mindset are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements, requiring flexibility, adaptability, and creative problem-solving.

Requirements

1-3+ years experience in designing, developing, implementing and supporting applications with expertise in most of the following: No/Low Code Tools (VBA, Alteryx, Power Automate, Power App), Analytics Software (Tableau, Power BI), Databases (SAS, Oracle, SQL Server), Cloud (Azure, AWS), ETL (Informatica, SSIS), and Tools (Tools: source control/issue management: Git, TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Selenium).
Demonstrate strong understanding of business analytics.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Technical discipline.

Nice To Haves

MBA or Master degree with specialization on Advanced Analytics, ML or AI is considered a plus.
PMP and Lean 6 Sigma certification are good to have.

Responsibilities

Develop solutions leveraging self-serve tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, VBA, Alteryx, Azure DevOps & Tableau to address business problems.
Assist in the resolution of routine and non-routine operational problems or issues by investigating, analyzing and providing an informed and independent opinion or recommendation on compliance issues, changes to policies, adequacy of operational controls, risk assessment, and control activities.
Provide technical leadership to develop precise steps and processing logic across all platforms, ensuring the designed specifications achieve business needs.
Provide comprehensive senior level technical consulting to other senior management and senior technical teams.
Provide consultation for senior management on a wide spectrum of existing and emerging infrastructure technologies, translating user requirements to process and data requirements and developing solutions for the business with far-reaching impact.
Make technology selection decisions in situations where business requirements are not completely defined.
Perform and coordinate complex solution design activities.
Understand the business requirements and translate them into system and application design that is aligned with our technology roadmap.
Design and document the technical functionality, infrastructure, interfaces and integrations.
Lead the design of cost-effective and innovative solutions to meet both business objectives and the goal of operational efficiency.
Contribute to technology roadmaps that are aligned with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business objectives.
Lead multiple complex technology solutions while maintaining consistency across the platform, adopting best practices and pushing forward continuous improvements.
Act as the solution lead and interface with the project teams by driving and moderating design review sessions to walk stakeholders through and ensure that the overall design aligns with business requirements as well as architectural directions.
Support and mentor junior designers and developers through knowledge sharing, collaboration and effective problem solving.
