Senior Analyst - Analytics
About The Position
Toyota Financial Services (TFS) is seeking highly motivated Senior Analysts for various open roles across its analytics teams. The primary focus of the Senior Analyst will be to support data-driven decisions through the acquisition and analysis of data and the effective communication of actionable insights. This position is based at the Toyota Headquarters in Plano, TX with an expectation to be onsite 2-3 days per week. The role involves supporting teams such as Pricing and Originations Analytics, Sales Compliance & Analytics, and Commercial Lending. The Pricing and Originations Analytics team delivers data-driven insights for pricing strategy and business performance, leveraging a cash flow model for pricing and profitability assessments. The Sales & Compliance Analytics team supports Sales Operations Compliance, Enterprise Compliance, and Field Sales with reporting, analysis, and data-driven decision support, handling ad hoc data requests and root cause analyses. The Commercial Lending area focuses on optimizing descriptive analytics, building scalable data products for commercial origination and risk management, and identifying early risk signals using data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field.
- 3+ years of relevant professional work experience (paid, non-academic).
- Professional experience coding in SQL (certain Analytics teams also use Python). Coding testing will be conducted in the interview process.
- Professional experience with Excel and PowerPoint
- Professional experience with Data Acquisition, Data Manipulation, and Data Cleaning
- Professional experience identifying trends and indicators through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Professional experience with statistics and predictive modelling techniques.
- Experience with presentation skills, including proposing strategic recommendations to management and clearly articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience collaborating effectively with others as well as working independently while in a hybrid work environment.
Nice To Haves
- MBA or advanced degree in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field.
- Professional work experience in auto financing, consumer lending and/or financial institutions.
- Advanced statistics knowledge.

- Build relationships with key stakeholders across Toyota such as Sales, Marketing, Servicing, Insurance, Risk, Technology, Legal/Compliance, Finance, Treasury, Commercial Lending, etc.
- Continuously improve your advanced analytical, communication, and people skills through offered training and on-the-job experience to prepare for advancement into analytical leadership roles.
- Become a subject matter expert within your business area by developing a comprehensive understanding of its strategies, processes, policies, and data.
- Guide/mentor other analysts on best practices for analysis and data storytelling.
