About The Position

Toyota Financial Services (TFS) is seeking highly motivated Senior Analysts for various open roles across its analytics teams. The primary focus of the Senior Analyst will be to support data-driven decisions through the acquisition and analysis of data and the effective communication of actionable insights. This position is based at the Toyota Headquarters in Plano, TX with an expectation to be onsite 2-3 days per week. The role involves supporting teams such as Pricing and Originations Analytics, Sales Compliance & Analytics, RV Loss Forecasting, and Commercial Lending. Specific team responsibilities include informing pricing strategy, conducting pricing and profitability assessments, supporting sales operations compliance, performing root cause analyses, forecasting Residual Value (RV) losses using advanced statistical models, and optimizing descriptive analytics for commercial lending needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field.
3+ years of relevant professional work experience (paid, non-academic).
Professional experience coding in SQL (certain Analytics teams also use Python). Coding testing will be conducted in the interview process.
Professional experience with Excel and PowerPoint
Professional experience with Data Acquisition, Data Manipulation, and Data Cleaning
Professional experience identifying trends and indicators through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Professional experience with statistics and predictive modelling techniques.
Experience with presentation skills, including proposing strategic recommendations to management and clearly articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Experience collaborating effectively with others as well as working independently while in a hybrid work environment.
Must have the right to work in the United States and not require Toyota support or sponsorship for immigration-related employment now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

MBA or advanced degree in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field.
Professional work experience in auto financing, consumer lending and/or financial institutions.
Advanced statistics knowledge.
Proficiency in Python.
Experience with Tableau.
Experience with data mining best practices.
Experience with statistical models in Python.
Ability to adapt forecast scenarios to rapidly changing conditions (tariffs, recalls, BEVs, etc.).
Desire to continuously improve existing forecasting models by partnering with Data Science, Accounting, and Finance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively understand and explain complicated technical concepts.

Become a subject matter expert within your business area by developing a comprehensive understanding of its strategies, processes, policies, and data.
Guide/mentor other analysts on best practices for analysis and data storytelling.
