About The Position

At Kiwi, we are already running AI in production, not just designing it, but building and shipping it across the product. We’re looking for a Senior AI Software Engineer who is deeply hands-on and comfortable owning features end-to-end: from backend logic and AI integration to frontend experiences. This role is about building fast, iterating in production, and making AI usable for real users.

Requirements

• 5+ years in software development, ideally in full-stack roles
• Must have hands-on experience applying AI in live product environments, working with systems that are actively used and continuously evolving
• Strong backend skills (Node.js, TypeScript, etc) and solid frontend experience (React, Next.js, etc)
• Experience integrating LLM APIs, agents, or automation into real products
• Ability to own features end-to-end, from idea to production
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with minimal structure
• Strong execution mindset, you build, ship, and improve
• Fluent English communication

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end features powered by LLMs and agents (backend + frontend)
• Integrate AI into real user-facing flows (voice, chat, product interfaces)
• Design and implement APIs and services that connect AI systems with the product
• Work on performance across the stack: frontend responsiveness, backend latency, AI cost/throughput
• Ship quickly, iterate in production, and continuously improve real user experiences
