Senior AI Scientist

Edward Jones

About The Position

As part of the AI, Data, and Emerging Technology Lab within Edward Jones (EJ Labs), the Senior AI Scientist helps shape how AI is applied across the firm by building reusable products and platforms that power enterprise decision-making. The role translates emerging technologies into practical, scalable solutions that drive growth, efficiency, and client outcomes. Operating at the intersection of advanced analytics, engineering, and business strategy, the Senior AI Scientist designs and delivers production-grade AI capabilities for ambiguous, high-stakes problems. The work supports decisions affecting millions of households and substantial assets, and includes building durable systems, influencing how the firm prioritizes and serves clients, and advancing the application of modern AI in financial services. The position develops AI-powered decisioning systems and reusable AI products, scales data science solutions into production-ready systems, and applies advanced analytics, machine learning, GenAI, and agentic systems to business needs. The role works across business, analytics, and technology teams and mentors colleagues while managing complex initiatives with minimal oversight.
