About The Position

Trissential is hiring a Senior AI/ML Full Stack Engineer to join our client’s Generative AI team within a leading healthcare and research organization. This is a high‑visibility role where you’ll design, deploy, and scale production‑grade AI solutions used across healthcare and enterprise environments. If you enjoy working end‑to‑end—from LLM pipelines and cloud deployment to user‑facing applications, this is an opportunity to work on complex, impactful AI systems that truly matter.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience designing and building software solutions
- Strong Python and SQL development skills
- Proven experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Experience with embeddings, prompt engineering, semantic search, and citations
- Solid understanding of ML/NLP model evaluation and monitoring
- Full‑stack development experience (front‑end and back‑end)
- Experience working in cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or OCI
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Vertex AI, BigQuery, OpenSearch, or Snowflake
- Knowledge of Agentic AI architectures
- Experience deploying AI solutions using Docker, Cloud Run, Airflow, Terraform, or CI/CD pipelines
- Background in healthcare, clinical, life sciences, claims, or regulatory data
- Experience implementing AI governance and safety frameworks
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy production‑grade AI/ML and Generative AI solutions
- Build and optimize RAG pipelines, embeddings, semantic search, and document intelligence workflows
- Develop scalable APIs and full‑stack applications supporting AI use cases
- Collaborate closely with system architects across the full software lifecycle
- Implement LLM evaluation frameworks, monitoring, and performance metrics
- Apply AI safety guardrails including content moderation and hallucination reduction
- Lead and mentor engineers through design, development, testing, and release cycles
- Communicate technical tradeoffs and progress clearly to stakeholders
