About The Position

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior-level AI/ML Engineer to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI/ML development and deployment, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms. This role requires advanced knowledge in architecting high-performing AI systems, big data processing, and integrating AI/ML models with existing enterprise systems. Responsible for innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis from complex and high-dimensional datasets. Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to prototype development and product improvement. Use a flexible, analytical approach to design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms that lead to optimal value extraction from the data. Generate and test hypotheses and analyze and interpret the results of product experiments. Work with product engineers and/or practitioners to translate concepts and prototypes into new products, services, and features and provide guidelines for large-scale implementation.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM field.
6–10 years of experience in AI/ML development and deployment.
Experience in Design and Implementation
Proven experience in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions and pipeline tools on the cloud.
Advanced knowledge of architecting scalable and high-performing AI systems for predictive analytics, natural language processing, and computer vision.
Extensive experience with cloud AI platforms such as Azure Machine Learning, AWS SageMaker, or Google Vertex AI.
Demonstrated expertise in big data processing and advanced ML techniques
Strong experience integrating AI/ML models with existing enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
Deep knowledge of programming languages for Machine Learning (Python, R, or similar).
In-depth knowledge of AI cloud tools and capabilities.
Understanding of Responsible AI (RAI) policies and development of metrics, measurements, and evaluation methods for emerging and existing areas of AI.
Azure Solutions Architect AI Engineer Associate or equivalent AWS Certified Machine Learning

Nice To Haves

Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
