About The Position

This role is part of the Global Payments Technology team, focusing on building AI agents powered by AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to deliver value within the Global Payments domain. Global Payments Technology is part of RBC’s Technology and Operations division, collaborating with partners across the company to deliver innovative IT solutions. Our clients span various departments, including Risk, Finance, HR, and more. We lead the development of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration and are known for our culture of innovation, inclusivity, and collaboration.

Requirements

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, including natural language processing.
Experience with data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience using Large Language Models (LLMs) and frameworks such as LangChain, Langraph, and others.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, OpenShift).
Experience with MLOps and model deployment pipelines.
Knowledge of payment processing systems and financial services.

Responsibilities

Develop and train AI models, including LLMs, to create intelligent agents for various use cases.
Collaborate with the team to design and implement AI solutions for anomaly detection and payments process automation.
Preprocess and analyze data to ensure model accuracy and performance.
Deploy and monitor AI models in production environments.
Contribute to research and development of new AI techniques and technologies.
