Senior AI / ML Deployment Engineer
About The Position
Seeking an Expert level AI / ML Deployment Engineer to support the deployment, scaling, and operation of production AI/ML systems used by external customers. This role sits within a growing AI organization focused on delivering real, production‑ready AI solutions—not research, experimentation, or academic modeling. The role supports AI‑driven capabilities embedded within a customer‑facing SaaS platform used in the construction and manufacturing industry. These systems must be secure, scalable, reliable, and performant in live production environments. This role owns end‑to‑end deployment and system architecture, partnering closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years deploying AI/ML systems into production environments (SaaS preferred).
- Hands-on experience setting up and managing dev, staging, and production environments.
- Strong background in microservices, REST APIs, and serverless architectures.
- Proven experience with infrastructure and deployment automation, including Terraform.
- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred).
- Proven experience with Containers (Docker; Kubernetes is a plus).
- Experience deploying and supporting external, customer-facing applications.
- Ability to design systems for scaling, performance, availability, and security.
- Comfortable owning deployments end to end (not relying solely on a separate DevOps team).
- Azure experience strongly preferred.
- AWS experience acceptable only if you have deep, hands-on deployment ownership.
