About The Position
AIVC Studio builds AI ventures from validated concepts to shipped products. This role involves building end-to-end agentic AI systems for Studio ventures, taking the first product from scope to ship, and hardening it for production. The engineer will also extract reusable primitives across builds and collaborate with product strategists and design partners to shape product development. The role requires operating across different venture contexts and thriving in ambiguity.
Requirements
- 2-5+ years at top quant (Citadel, Two Sigma, DE Shaw, Jane Street) or elite tech (Google, Stripe, Ramp, Databricks, Modal) with clear individual output
- Shipped and operated production AI systems with real users
- Entrepreneurial instinct (side project, startup, internal 0-to-1)
- Top-tier STEM degree
- Commercial EQ with non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end agentic AI systems (agents, retrieval, orchestration, tools) for Studio ventures 0-to-1 through PMF
- Take a venture's first product from scope to ship, then harden for production
- Extract reusable primitives across builds
- Shape what gets built with product strategists and design partners
- Operate across different venture contexts; thrive in ambiguity
