About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Agricultural Credit Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating the creditworthiness of agricultural loan applications, providing recommendations to loan officers, and assisting in the development of loan structures that meet the needs of our clients.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural credit analysis
Strong understanding of agricultural lending practices and procedures
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in financial analysis and risk assessment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of agricultural markets and trends preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough analysis of credit applications and financial statements to determine creditworthiness and risk level
Prepare credit proposals and make recommendations to loan officers based on analysis
Work closely with loan officers to develop loan structures that meet the needs of clients while minimizing risk for the company
Monitor and track loan performance and make recommendations for adjustments as needed
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions that may impact loan decisions
Provide guidance and support to junior credit analysts as needed
Build and maintain relationships with clients, loan officers, and other team members
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures
