About The Position

This is a telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S. The Senior Agile Practitioner will drive agility within PyTorch’s upstream community collaboration cycles and across Red Hat’s open source delivery model by streamlining contribution workflows, accelerating feedback loops, and fostering continuous integration of community and enterprise innovations. The role involves demonstrating a strong understanding of engineering development and release practices to support process improvement and develop enablement materials. The practitioner will deliver Agile training and coaching virtually and in person to a highly technical audience, and coach and empower engineering teams towards self-organization by adopting best practices across project planning, including scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities. They will support teams by gathering insights from agile metrics, such as lead, cycle time, burn down, and cumulative flow, to identify gaps and opportunities to improve the development workflow. The role also includes partnering with leadership to define OKRs, roadmap alignment, and release planning, and serving as an Agile coach for Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Engineering Managers. Participation in status review meetings with project team members, product management, and internal customers is also expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related role.
  • Three (3) years of experience with: using Power BI and Tableau to create agile metrics dashboards that pull data from Jira, Confluence, and AWS to track delivery metrics and provide insights that support continuous improvement.
  • Three (3) years of experience with: leading Agile delivery of large-scale technical projects by applying Scrum, Kanban, or scaled Agile frameworks.
  • Three (3) years of experience with: utilizing GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure predictable release cycles and high-quality outcomes.
  • Three (3) years of experience with: leading engineers, architects, and technical leads in Agile and Lean practices using GROW and Situational Leadership models to boost team autonomy, accountability, and delivery effectiveness.
  • Three (3) years of experience with: using JQL, Advanced Roadmaps, dashboards and PostgreSQL to track projects, manage dependencies, and provide engineering leadership with actionable insights.
  • Two (2) years of experience with: using Gtmhub (Quantive) to set and track Objective & Key Results (OKRs) that align engineering teams with strategy, measure outcomes, and ensure accountability.
  • Two (2) years of experience with: automating the tracking of upstream community contributions using YAML scripts and webhooks to streamline integration, improve visibility, and accelerate feedback loops.
  • Two (2) years of experience with: maintaining RAID and risk registers using Smartsheet to track risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, enabling early identification of blockers, timely escalation, and resolution.
  • ICAgile Certified Expert in Agile Coaching certification.
