About The Position

This is a senior developer position responsible for the design and development of dynamic enterprise-class software applications, technical leadership, and mentoring of other team members. Senior Software Engineers are expected to be proficient with approved AI-assisted and agentic development workflows, including GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and parallel agents, and to help establish responsible patterns that improve delivery speed, quality, and engineering consistency across M3 products.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in a directly related position required.
  • 5 years’ experience working with REST APIs.
  • 5 years minimum experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular preferred).
  • 5 years minimum experience working with relational database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
  • Demonstrated proficiency applying AI-assisted or agentic development tools to production-grade software delivery, including prompt design, agent orchestration, code review, automated testing, and risk validation.
  • Experience mentoring engineers in responsible AI-assisted development practices, including when to use agents, how to constrain them, and how to verify their outputs.
  • Regular attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work a full-time position during normal office hours as well as some time on weekends and evenings as project needs or scheduling requirements dictate.
  • Strong written and verbal skills in English and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive business relationships with co-workers and other business contacts.
  • Organizational Skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the .Net (Core) framework.
  • Advanced development capability with .NET/Core, C#, Angular/TypeScript, REST APIs, microservices, SQL, Entity Framework, and enterprise SaaS design patterns.
  • Experience on cloud platforms such as Azure.
  • Experienced using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Git-based workflows, pull requests, automated reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven results in accelerating the delivery of software features using agentic workflow.
  • Use of object-relational mapping tools such as Microsoft Entity Framework.
  • Experience with Microservices and Containers (Docker) a plus.
  • Proficiency with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and similar agentic development tools; able to guide parallel-agent workflows from task definition through validation.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
  • Relevant certifications or training in .NET, Azure, GitHub, secure coding, DevOps, architecture, or AI-assisted software development are welcomed and will be considered.
  • A strong developer portfolio will be considered, including GitHub projects, production examples, standards contributions, mentoring materials, or responsible AI-assisted development examples.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior technical contributor across the SDLC, applying M3 engineering standards, architecture guidance, and advanced AI-assisted/agentic development workflows.
  • Collaborate with team to identify end user requirements and technical specifications.
  • Ability to direct the team in making the right design decisions with focus on performance, scalability, extensibility, quality, security, and ease of maintenance.
  • Develop and review production-quality .NET, Angular, API, and SQL code, including code created through GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or approved parallel agents.
  • Lead debugging, automated testing, deployment readiness, and validation strategies for both human-authored and AI-generated changes.
  • Troubleshoot and improve existing applications.
  • Define and maintain technical documentation, prompt patterns, validation playbooks, and code review expectations that support responsible agentic workflow adoption.
  • Decompose complex work into agent-ready tasks and safely initiate, coordinate, and review parallel agents for coding, refactoring, test generation, and defect resolution.
  • Mentor Associate Software Engineers and Software Engineers in prompt strategy, tool selection, agent orchestration, code review, automated testing, and secure AI-assisted development practices.
  • Assist the manager in guiding engineering practices, assessing technical performance, setting standards, and training developers in modern and agentic software development practices.
  • Assist in preparing specifications, acceptance criteria, implementation plans, and estimation approaches that account for AI-assisted delivery, review, testing, and risk.
