About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join Consumer Business Lending as part of Consumer Technology group. You'll work as part of an Intelligent Automation Engineering team within Consumer Technology in the design, development and implementation of automated, GenAI and Agentic solutions. This is a hands-on senior developer role requiring strong development skills and ability to work with advanced automations using technologies like Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence, Low-code technologies like UiPath, Microsoft Power Platforms, Google ADK, LangChain, LangGraph, Alteryx etc.

Requirements

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ year of UiPath Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development experience
2+ Agentic AI and Agent building experience
2+ years of Agile experience
2+ years of experience with Python, programming or scripting languages
2+ years of experience working with Generative AI, large language models (LLM), or foundation models
A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology

Nice To Haves

UiPath certification
Agentic AI certification
2+ years of experience with either GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
2+ years of experience with REST API development and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
2+ years of experience using Git for source code version control, including branching, pull requests, and collaborative development workflows
Experience with Dataverse, Claude, GitHUb Copilot and Agentic agent tools
Experience with LLM development using OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini models
Experience with agentic frameworks and AI workflow orchestration
Experience designing applications that incorporate retrieval augmented generation, fine tuning, and structured prompting
Experience with vector databases and retrieval systems such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Pinecone, or Weaviate
Experience with LLM evaluation, observability, and monitoring including latency, cost, accuracy, grounding, drift detection, and safety assessments
Familiarity with ML lifecycle tools and processes such as feature stores, model registries, and CI or CD pipelines for AI services
Familiarity with responsible AI principles, compliance, and governance processes related to AI systems in regulated environments
Experience optimizing AI application performance including prompt efficiency, model selection, caching, batching, and cost management
Knowledge and understanding of web systems: architecture or design
Knowledge and understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) disciplines such as Machine Learning or Natural Language Processing
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
