About The Position

The Harry Walker Agency (HWA) is the World’s #1 Exclusive Speakers’ Agency, representing thought leaders and providing access to hundreds of speakers worldwide, including World Leaders, business leaders, Nobel Laureates, economists, journalists, bestselling authors, entertainers, and motivational and keynote speakers. HWA works with organizations of all types to find speakers for any budget. The agency is seeking a Senior Agent to provide administrative support to Agents, including CRM database work, filing, managing communications, and tracking contract edits. The role also involves business development and sales support, such as prospecting calls, preparing sales proposals, handling low or no-fee invitations, and heavy database management for sales opportunity analysis.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials in a timely manner.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Ability to find creative solutions and maintain a positive attitude.
Attention to detail.
Interested reading knowledge of Current Affairs and Business Trends.

Nice To Haves

Experience in event planning that included client contact and written communications is a plus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to Agents as needed.
Work within the CRM database to input opportunities, invitations, and firm offer details.
File and manage communications for Sales Agents.
Track and communicate requested contract edits.
Perform business development and sales support work.
Conduct prospecting phone calls.
Prepare and email sales proposals and various communications to potential buyers.
Independently handle incoming requests for speakers that are low or no fee invitations.
Perform heavy database management, including report generation and analysis, to identify and leverage opportunities for increased sales.
