About The Position

Join our Cybersecurity Center of Excellence at L&T Technology Services as a Senior Aerospace Cybersecurity Engineer. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Extensive experience in hardware cybersecurity for aerospace or defense systems
  • Proven expertise in threat modeling, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments
  • Strong knowledge of secure software development, cryptography, and secure firmware processes
  • Hands-on experience with embedded systems and avionics platforms
  • Familiarity with federal and aerospace cybersecurity compliance requirements (e.g., DO-326A, NIST, RMF)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working directly with federal contractors or government agencies
  • Background in proposal development and customer-facing cybersecurity engagements
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent
  • Experience with lab-based and on-site security assessments

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end cybersecurity activities for aerospace and avionics programs
  • Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and security architecture reviews for embedded and hardware systems
  • Support secure software development, including code signing, cryptography, secure boot, and firmware updates
  • Conduct cybersecurity testing, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing on aerospace platforms
  • Define and implement security measures for embedded controllers, avionics, and aircraft platforms
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace and federal cybersecurity standards and frameworks
  • Review and respond to customer requirements, RFIs, and RFQs; contribute to proposal development
  • Collaborate with customers, federal contractors, and internal engineering teams
  • Participate in lab-based testing and conduct on-site assessments at customer and aircraft locations
