Senior Advisor | Mining Advisory & Operational Excellence
About The Position
At Immersive Technologies, we partner with some of the world's leading mining organizations to improve safety, workforce capability, operational performance, and business results through advanced technology, data-driven insights, and advisory expertise. We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor to join our Advisory team and serve as a trusted partner to senior mining leaders. In this role, you will help customers identify performance improvement opportunities, develop strategic roadmaps, and deliver consulting engagements that create measurable and sustainable value. Working across a portfolio of strategic mining accounts, you will combine deep industry knowledge, commercial acumen, and consulting expertise to solve complex operational and workforce challenges. You will build executive-level relationships, influence key decisions, and lead initiatives that improve productivity, operational excellence, workforce effectiveness, and long-term business performance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in mining, operational excellence, management consulting, business transformation, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success working with senior executives and complex stakeholder environments.
- Experience developing business cases, strategic roadmaps, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Strong consulting, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Commercial awareness and a proven ability to support customer growth and long-term value creation.
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex challenges into practical business solutions.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering measurable operational outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior mining executives and operational leaders.
- Identify customer challenges and translate them into strategic improvement opportunities and business cases.
- Lead consulting engagements from opportunity identification through delivery and value realization.
- Develop account growth strategies and support the expansion of advisory services within strategic customer accounts.
- Facilitate executive discussions, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality consulting outcomes.
- Deliver practical, data-driven recommendations that improve operational and workforce performance.
- Support customers in achieving measurable improvements in safety, productivity, capability development, and operational effectiveness.
