Senior Advisor, Tourism Development
About The Position
Reporting to the Manager, Tourism Development, the Senior Advisor, Tourism Development is responsible for fostering growth of Nunavut’s tourism industry to benefit Nunavummiut and reach governmental goals for economic development in communities. The position plays an essential role in planning, research, product development and multi-stakeholder cooperation to implement the territorial tourism strategy and the current Government of Nunavut mandate. The incumbent will also be responsible for implementing the government’s role to provide sound information, advice, research and data, assessing product options for their marketability, and facilitating product development suitable for national and international visitors to Nunavut.
