About The Position

Spalding University, a mission-driven Catholic institution in downtown Louisville founded by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, is seeking a Senior Advisor to the President to serve as a strategic partner to the President during a transformative period of growth. This high-visibility role manages complex projects, advances strategic partnerships, and serves as a key liaison among the President, Board of Trustees, senior leadership, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
5+ years of progressively responsible experience in executive support, project management, or relationship management
Demonstrated success engaging senior-level stakeholders in complex organizations
Exceptional communication skills and high integrity handling confidential matters

Nice To Haves

Higher education experience and familiarity with mission-driven or Catholic institutions preferred

Responsibilities

Lead high-priority strategic initiatives and special projects on behalf of the President
Serve as the University’s primary liaison to the business and industry community
Plan and coordinate Board of Trustees meetings, retreats, and related activities
Prepare executive-level briefing materials, presentations, and communications
Track presidential directives and action items to ensure timely follow-up and accountability
Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and lead project teams on institutional initiatives
Design and lead a holistic corporate relationship engagement and management strategy aligned with institutional goals and partners initiatives
