About The Position

As a Senior Advisor, Network Excellence and Competency Development (NECD) within the Desjardins Agent Network (DAN), you demonstrate strong accountability for the effective tracking, execution, and delivery of projects and initiatives aligned to annual organizational objectives. You provide informed recommendations related to the planning and execution of operationally and strategically complex initiatives, drawing on comprehensive analysis and a deep understanding of organizational structures, business lines, and performance drivers. Success in this role requires effective coordination across multiple functions and disciplines, making strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills essential. You act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, serving as a key resource and coach to leadership teams and decision‑making bodies. More specifically, you will be required to: Ensure that leads are accountable for annual objectives clearly understand their deliverables and timelines and obtain timely quarterly status reporting. Plan, manage, and facilitate agendas for both broad and targeted management and governance committees. Proactively identify, analyze, and diagnose major operational or strategic issues, and develop evidence‑based recommendations to drive continuous improvement. Develop, monitor, and manage annual budgets, collaborating with internal partners to optimize staffing projections, productivity, and resource utilization. Model and champion NECD core values, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability. Coordinate initiatives and activities with other Senior Advisors across NECD and the broader Desjardins Agent Network, ensuring alignment and integration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • A minimum of seven years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Experience in a senior advisory, consulting, or leadership role, supporting complex initiatives and executive stakeholders
  • Expert knowledge of the DAN and its operating environment
