About The Position

The Senior Advisor Finance Business Partner Metals is responsible for monitoring department cost transactions and conducting month-end close processes. This role provides cost and trend analysis, supports the Metals Operations budgeting process (cost model, SAP uploads, plan presentations), and manages and upskills stakeholders in cost control. Additionally, the position evaluates department capital projects ($10M or less), manages and improves financial tools and systems, and provides financial insights and reporting to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 10 years of related work experience
• 10 years of experience in Finance
• 10 years of experience presenting complex financial or operational data to internal stakeholders
• 5 years of experience in mining operations
• 5 years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling
• 5 years of experience aligning financial initiatives with the organization’s strategic objectives in the mining sector
• 5 years of experience analyzing business and value chain data, including interpreting complex financial data and making recommendations to support business decisions
• 5 years of experience managing multiple concurrent projects, including scheduling, task prioritization, and meeting project deadlines
• 5 years of experience using Microsoft Office, SAP, and Power BI
