Save the Children has been fighting for the rights of children for over 100 years, focusing on the right to a healthy start in life, access to education, and a safe environment protected from harm. The organization operates in over 100 countries, including the U.S., aiming to create positive and irreversible change for children. The Child Protection Team leads efforts in areas such as children without appropriate care (CWAC), family strengthening, children on the move, counter trafficking, preventing violence against children, child labor, and providing protective services during emergencies. A core component of this work is Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), which includes case management, specialized mental health referral systems, counseling programs, and the HEART program (Healing and Education through the Arts). As the Senior Advisor, Child Protection, you will provide technical support for Save the Children’s Child Protection and MHPSS programs, contributing to strategic directions, developing external partnerships, and strengthening approaches for children's psychosocial well-being. You will also provide technical assistance to country offices for program development, implementation, improvement, and evaluation.
